Terms and Conditions to Holiday Rentals

Rental Terms and Conditions of your Booking

Out of season and “long term” rates are available upon request.

Note that during the summer period it is recommended that you have use of the “air conditioning” or in the slightly cooler evenings of Cyprus winters, use of heating units. Both are fitted throughout our properties and a locally paid charge will apply. Car Hire is recommended and if you book through us we will arrange free airport transfers.

Once a provisional booking of a property has been made by either e`mail on our website, telephone, facsimile, you will receive a brochure with a booking form, which is to be completed by all travelling / holidaying at the property and returned to us. Upon our receipt of the booking form and the required deposit, we will confirm the booking by return of post. Until we have confirmed the booking with this procedure, the booking is not deemed to be “confirmed”.

PAYMENT TERMS : The deposit required when booking your villa is 30% of the total costs for the villa. The balance payment must be received not less than 8 weeks prior to your departure date. We reserve the right to regard the booking as cancelled if the balance remaining is unpaid after this due date, and we shall be entitled to retain all deposits paid. For any bookings made as “last minute” (less than the 8 weeks period) then full payment of your holiday costs will be required.

SMALL PRINT : Cancellations by the client must be made in writing by the person / persons signing the booking form, known as "The Party Leader". Cancellations falling into the less than 8 weeks period to departure date, then full payment will be due. Cancellations outside this period, deposits will be repaid at the managements discretion. Cancellations by us in the very unlikely event of the villa is not available (bombing, flood, strikes, civil disturbances, local government bye laws, war, an act of God) and we are unable to offer you an alternative to the same standard of villa, we will refund all monies paid, including all deposits. This is a family villa and we do not take bookings for groups of all males / females or where all persons are under the age of 25.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES : Only those persons listed on the booking form may use the rental property. In the event that the maximum number allowed at the property is exceeded without prior agreement, we reserve the right to refuse or revoke the booking contract in total. We have local agents to maintain a high standard throughout the property, Gardeners, Pool maintenance and Cleaners and will come in during the week. Please assist us in keeping these standards. The property fittings, furnishings, equipment, gardens, swimming pool and its fruit trees must be kept in a good state of repair. The property and its cleanliness must be maintained during your stay and your assistance is required here. Should any of these conditions / equipment fall below our set standards, be lost / damaged / wilfully or accidentally, you will be required to make a settlement for any necessary replacements / repairs to our local agents. Failure to comply with this, payment via your credit card details offered on the booking contract will apply.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES : We shall ensure that the property is provided with a very good standard of all equipment / furnishings / linen and cleanliness as advertised for your holiday comfort. We do recommend you take your own towels for the property rental. There are emergency contact telephone numbers via our local agents for your usage posted at the property. We shall not be liable for any loss, breach or delay due to any cause beyond our control, including the mentioned bombing, flood, strikes, civil disturbances, local government bye laws, war or act of God found under “Small Print”. We can not be responsible for any mechanical breakdowns such as pumps, boilers, swimming pool solar heating panels or filtration system, nor failure to public utilities such as water, gas, electricity supplies, but we will always endeavour to put right any such breakdowns / repairs as soon as possible, using our local agents.

FLIGHTS : Flights are to be arranged by yourselves but we do offer full support on all airlines operating into Cyprus and can be found on our website at www.cyprusidealvillas.com and Click on any airline, enter the dates required to find your flight.

INSURANCE : It is a condition of booking, that you and your party are covered by comprehensive travel Insurance with arrangements being made yourselves. It is recommended the policy should cover you for personal liability and cancellation cover. Your signature on the booking form will confirm you and all your party have read, understood and accept all of these conditions.
